🚨 SECTION 12 DOCTORS NEEDED - URGENT OPPORTUNITIES 🚨

We are looking for S12 Doctors to undertake Form 4 assessments (DoLS process) and COP3 assessments (COPDOL11 process) across the UK.

What Do Section 12 Doctors Do?

S12 doctors are responsible for assessing individuals' mental health conditions to determine if they meet the legal criteria for detention or treatment under the Mental Health Act (MHA). They often work alongside Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) and other medical staff in making these decisions.

They are commonly involved in:

  • Mental Health Act assessments (deciding if someone needs to be detained for treatment).
  • Best Interest Assessments (BIA) under Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
  • Court of Protection work (such as completing Form 4 and COP3 assessments to assess a person's mental state in legal cases).

🔹 Your Role: Conduct Mental Health Assessments only - the BIA will handle the Mental Capacity Assessment.
